I understand and agree with Worthington Cylinders as follows:
- Sending my idea to Worthington Cylinders is completely voluntary. Worthington
Cylinders did not ask me to send in my idea.
- No confidential relationship exists between me and Worthington Cylinders, nor is
one created by my sending in my idea or otherwise and, if, despite this acknowledgement,
one is found to have existed, I waive such relationship in its entirety.
- Worthington Cylinders has agreed to respect my patent rights as they may exist or
arise under the patent statutes. Otherwise, I have no expectation that Worthington
Cylinders will keep my idea confidential or pay me for any idea, even if Worthington
Cylinders uses my idea or discloses it to someone else who uses it.
- To the best of my knowledge, I am the creator of the idea (No one gave the idea
to me), I am legally permitted to send my idea to Worthington Cylinders, and no
one’s rights would prevent Worthington Cylinders or me from using the idea.
- Worthington Cylinders does not have to return anything I send it.
- I have never been employed by Worthington Cylinders or any company related to it.
- I will not use Worthington Cylinders’ name or trade names, nor will I give
anyone the impression that Worthington Cylinders has agreed to or may use my idea.
- I neither have nor will have any other agreements or understandings with Worthington
Cylinders. This agreement can be modified only by a separate written agreement signed
by Worthington.
I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE AGREEMENT AND KNOW THAT IT MAY BE BENEFICIAL FOR
ME TO CONSULT AN ATTORNEY BEFORE CHECKING THE BOX BELOW AND SENDING MY IDEA TO WORTHINGTON
CYLINDERS. NOTHING WRITTEN BELOW IN THE IDEA DESCRIPTION WILL CONSTITUTE A CHANGE
TO THIS AGREEMENT.
